LIVE IN position in the Cirencester area of Gloucestershire. to start around June 2008 for long term. Monday to Friday - live in with family, working alongside a full time mum , but as a complete full on nanny, not a mothers help - there are 4 children - aged 5yrs, 3 yrs, 2yrs and new baby 3months old. Although this is not a mothers help role, and the family does also have cleaners a few days each week, they do need a nanny who is willing to muck in with what is required as necessary, so there will of course be some light housework - which will probably fall within the realms of ‘Nursery Duties'. Also the planning, preparation and cooking of healthy balanced meals for the children.

All children have various educational or activity commitments throughout the week, and so as there are 4 children the nanny and mum are often on different school runs at the same time! The hours are 60 per week, with some flexibility required for start and finish times, depending on the children's timetables. But essentially around the same hours each day - normal nanny hours - between 7-7 usually. Pay commensurate with duties and hours. Car available for use within and outside working hours. Babysitting is required up to 2-3 times a week, by request and agreement with the nanny. The family does have other babysitters if nanny is busy. Personal free time hours are respected wholeheartedly by the family and as such, nanny's accommodation is at the other end of the house. There is a good community of local nannies in the area in similar posts. There is also a gym with equipment which the nanny may also use. This is a very friendly and active family, they live in a large detached house with a walled garden, so is a nice and safe environment for the children to play outside in their own garden with the nanny / parents.
