Kitchen/ Night Porter

As Hotel Kitchen/ Night Porter you will assist the Hotel Head Chef with all aspects of operating the hotel kitchen, ensuring that the standards of cleanliness and quality of catering are maintained. In addition, you will be responsible for the running of reception during the night. You will work on a shift rotation with other Kitchen/ Night Porters.

As Kitchen Porter, your work will involve cleaning, laundry preparation, stock checking, assisting with hotel administration and assisting with weekly Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Samples and Fire Checks.

In your role as Night Porter, you will be responsible for cleaning and tidying, nightly security, safety and fire checks and you will manage reception throughout the night, deal with any guest problems that may arise and supervise the evacuation of guests in an emergency.

Hotel Manager

You will manage one of our chalet hotels, with leadership responsibility for all operational and guest related aspects of hotel management, taking a front-line role in hosting our guests and making them feel welcome and in professional hands. You will supervise and organise hotel staff and ensure that our high standards, procedures and company image are maintained. You will provide regular, accurate reports and accounts.

You will need to be highly organised and adaptable with excellent communication skills.

Required Experience

· Ideally previous experience working overseas

· Hotel and customer service experience essential

· Management or supervisory skills

· Knowledge of French or German and full clean driving license desirable

Chalet Manager

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining the standards and quality of the catering in all of your resort's chalets, ensuring they operate within their budget. You will supervise chalet staff, collate weekly orders, liaise with suppliers and receive deliveries.

You will also provide training throughout the season for existing and new chalet staff. You will be required to produce detailed budget reports and account for the resort's catering expenditure.

You need to be highly organised and adaptable with good catering skills, ideally having previous experience of working overseas as a chalet host or chef.

Required Experience

· Hospitality, catering and customer service experience essential

· Management and supervisory skills

· Full clean driving licence

Resort Rep

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Resort Manager with guest and staff welfare, maintaining chalet standards, organising lift passes, ski hire and lessons, airport transfers, ski hosting and running après ski events.

You need to be a confident, outgoing person with excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work within a team.

Required Experience

· Excellent command of spoken French, German or Italian

· Hospitality and customer experience an advantage

· Competent skier

· Full clean driving licence

Resort Child Care Manager

Your responsibilities will include overseeing all operational and guest related aspects of the resort child care management, supervising and organising the child care team and ensuring that our high standards and procedures within our Nurseries and children's activity clubs are maintained. You will provide the regional and head office with regular and accurate reports.

You will need to be a confident and outgoing person with excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Required Experience

· Two years experience within a child care setting

· CACHE DCE, NNEB, B-TEC or NVQ 3 equivalent qualifications an advantage

· Previous supervisory experience essential

Resort Manager

Snow Ranger

Your responsibilities will include being an active member of the child care team, providing enjoyable activities for children aged 3 to 12 years in our exclusive children's activity clubs.

This involves entertaining them with games and crafts, both indoors and out. You will also escort the children to and from our ski lessons, sometimes assisting the ski instructors during lessons.

You need to have a friendly and outgoing personality with bags of enthusiasm and exceptional snowman building skills!

Required Experience

· Previous child care experience

Chalet Host

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the smooth running of your chalet and keeping within the set budgets.

You will provide excellent quality meals and present your chalet to a high standard for between 6 and 18 guests. This involves preparing breakfast, afternoon tea and a four course evening meal including canapés, plus housekeeping and entertaining your guests. In our larger chalets there are opportunities for friends and couples to run the chalet together.

You should have a friendly and outgoing personality, with excellent organisation and communication skills.

Required Experience

· Catering/cooking experience or qualification essential

· Hospitality and customer service experience an advantage

Chalet Chef

Your responsibilities will include the smooth running of your kitchen, keeping within the set budgets, supervising and organising your team and ensuring that our high standards and procedures are maintained. You will provide excellent quality meals, presented to a high standard, for between 20 and 48 guests in one of our larger chalets.

You need to be self-motivated and confident in your own abilities, with excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to work within a team.

Required Experience

· Qualification or proven experience in the catering industry

Nanny/ Nursery Nurse

Your responsibilities will include working as part of the child care team, to provide care for nursery children aged from 4 months to 3 years. You must ensure a safe, stimulating and activity packed environment is maintained in our nurseries. You will provide fun activities in the snow, as well as in the nursery.

You will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, with a genuine enthusiasm for child care.

Required Experience

· CACHE DCE, NNEB, B-TEC or NVQ level 3 qualification

Mountains Kitchen Porter Night Porter

We want our guests to have a great holiday. Which means our Kitchens need to run like clockwork. Whether you are doing dishes, helping chop up a mound of fresh vegetables or making sure all the food stocks are rotated properly, you'll be a vital member of the team.

When night falls, you'll take responsibilty for the security of everyone in the hotel, doing everything from regular fire checks to routine cleaning and preparation tasks. After an honest days graft, you'll then have a whole mountain environment to explore.

Chef de Parties and Commis chef

Delicious, varied meals are a vital part of a great holiday. You’ll assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing all the food at your hotel, from hearty breakfasts to crèche meals, packed lunches to three course feasts in the evening.

When the Head Chef’s not there, you’ll be in charge. You’ll assist with stock takes, help with the costing of 12 day menus, contribute to training and be a friendly, welcoming presence that guests look forward to chatting to over dinner.

You have a great deal of culinary flair, and a recognised cooking qualification. For the higher positions, you’ll also need experience of managing others in a kitchen. All of which means you know how to keep morale – and standards – high in the kitchen.

You also have the friendly, outgoing personality that will ensure guests really take to you. In short, you’ll play a big part in making sure our customers are dying to come back next year.
