Have conduct of the Councils complex and important planning and highways matters
Advise on and drafting complex planning appeals and related litigation
Act as an advocate 
Advise planning committees
Provide planning policy advice.
Carry out general environmental work and Judicial review work.  

Experience required:

Excellent knowledge of planning and highways law
Knowledge of general law relating to local authorities and councillors. 

£19 - 26 an hour.  Rates vary depending on experience.
