Ice Cream Servery Staff

Yee Kwan is a new and exciting ice cream company in Sheffield. We make handcrafted ice cream and sorbet, our flavours are inspired by the far east.

We are now looking for ice cream servery staff to assist us in selling our products from a traditional tricycle and freezer.

This is a part time position, required to work on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 5pm in Hathersage, Derbyshire

You will have the following skills:

food and hygiene certificate (preferred)

amiable and presentable

clean and tidy

trustworthy and a hard worker

You will be responsible for:

serving customers

handling cash

keeping work area clean and tidy

It would ideally suit a school leaver or student.

Stock Controller

My client, a famous Retail brand in the heart of London is looking for a Stock Controller to co-ordinate the implementation of all relevant systems, processes and perpetual inventory checks to maintain the accuracy of the company stock file and minimise stock loss. The role will be for a fixed contract of 12 months and for the right candidate will pay up to £35000. £30,000 - £35,000 12 month Fixed Term Contract Duties include: Review the existing perpetual inventory programme and identify and implement relevant improvements. Support Retail Operations in the planning of stock counts and ensure the physical counts are efficient and accurate. Periodic attendance at stock counts to ensure procedures are being followed in practice. Liaise with external warehouses to ensure that agreed stock takes are carried out and differences investigated. Carry out checks on the accuracy of these counts. Identify and implement relevant improvements to process. Follow up adverse stocktaking results to identify causes and recommend improvements to procedures and processes. Authorise all adjustments to stock ledger. Develop an easy to understand monthly pack, which identifies the key reasons for stock differences. Implement improved reporting of Stock Count Results, including level of compliance to stock take procedures and accuracy by SKU. Agree appropriate benchmarks for stock loss, in liaison with Retail Operations and the Finance Director, and monitor results against these benchmarks, identifying necessary actions to minimise stock loss going forward. Input into the development of a stock loss incentive scheme, maintain details of stock-take adjustments for calculation of incentive scheme bonuses. Chair the monthly Stock Loss Committee meeting, ensuring the meetings cover all relevant stock control issues and are focused on improving stock control around the business. Regular review of the stock file to ensure the stock locations are clean. Liaison with Finance Manager - Retail to ensure any adjustments to stock are posted to the management accounts correctly. Authorisation of new locations and involvement in any unusual movements of stock around the business. Awareness of impact of changes in stock on the Management Accounts of the business. Receive payment from Clients. Cash payments at your bank. Deduct 10% percentage/pay on Payment processed.

For instance: you receive £3000 or $ 3000 via check or money orders on our behalf. You will cash them immediately and keep £300 or $300 (10%) for yourself! At the beginning your commission will equal 10%, though later it will increase up to 15% to 20% depending on your efficiency and you may also be upgraded as one of our representative to part of the world on inspection tour!
