Due to their growing success, they are looking for a Commercial Support Manager to work closely with the Head of Commercial 

Role:

To provide commercial support to the business generally and manage the commercial review and measurement processes within the department.  Ensure that new business is priced in accordance with pricing guidelines and that new accounts are correctly implemented from a commercial and invoicing perspective. Conduct regular internal profitability reviews of the existing account base and manage a structured process of annual contract and pricing reviews.

Provide support and management of commercial undertakings and projects - Fuel Surcharges, competitor benchmarking and analysis of cost spend in areas such as stationery and consumables purchasing.

Ensure conformance with commercial ISO requirements, identify areas for continual cost and price improvements and closely liaise with Finance Department.

Key accountabilities:

-Prepare new business  proposals and new business costings within specified timeframes in line with commercial pricing models
-Liaise with the Implementation Department to ensure that all new business is correctly structured in terms of pricing, billing capture, invoice reconciliation and company set up on the system. 
-Produce and manage all Service Request Forms (SRFs) for new and existing business and ensure that contracts are signed prior to any business commencing.
-Conduct a full review of all new business within 4 weeks of start date to ensure compliance with pricing and freight profiles
-Manage the handover of new accounts from New Business Manager to Account Manager to ensure that the new account is trading at anticipated levels and is commercially viable and compliant prior to handover
-Create and manage an internal diary system of all accounts with the object of creating a regular commercial review of accounts in line with the agreed contractual review process
-Prepare internal KPIs and Account Review information to enable the commercial reviews of accounts and assist the Account Manager in preparing the review packs for customers.
-Capture, validate and collate information to enable the accurate and timely production of the monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-Ensure compliance with commercial processes within the ISO framework

Personal Qualities / Background required: 
A degree or professional qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience is essential. 
Good verbal and written sales, interpersonal and analytical skills are required. 
Computer literacy - essential 
Commercial background essential
Operational experience
Experience of bids and tenders
Negotiation skills 
Business Acumen 
Logistics / distribution experience would be advantageous
