Senior Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to join our client's design team in Exeter. Our client is one of the most innovative firms of Consulting Engineers in the UK construction industry focusing and offering engineering services in all areas of construction including buildings, highways, railways, water, power, telecommunications and the environment.

Our client is looking for an experienced Waste Water engineer take a lead role in part of their continuing project for their key client, Wessex Water. The successful candidate will have had significant experience in clean/dirty water and waste water treatment ideally in a design capacity using various CAD programmes. Project management and a team leading ability is desirable as you will hold responsibility for the delivery of the successful project to the client.

Candidates will have experience on the civil engineering design of a full range of wastewater treatment schemes including the modification and extension of existing treatment facilities. Also, experience must include an understanding of the mechanical and electrical aspects of waste water schemes to ensure that a co-ordinated approach is achieved in the design process.

This is a longterm contract over 6 months with the possibility for an extension dependant upon work load and project performance. Excellent rates will reward the successful candidate.

My client, a large Financial Services organisation in Exeter, requires an experienced Financial Accountant on a temporary basis.The right candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified, preferably with a background in working for a large organisation. Experience in Practice is highly desirable.The role includes:

Preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting with partnership accounts
Consolidations
Cashflows
Checking and reviewing work in preparation for audit
