Transport Operations Manager

Dundee Area 37 hours per week £32,640 -£35,118 per annum as of 1 july 2008 £32,740- £36,927 per annum (pay award pending) (placing will be dependant on qualifications and experience) reporting to the transport services manager, this senior post will be integral to the management and efficient running of our varied fleet of vehicles (450) and plant, providing an interface with our suppliers and internal & external chants. you are required to have a sound understanding of current transport legislation and be widely experienced in vehicle engineering & maintenance and all related matters, hold a (pc in national road haulage operations and have irte membership or equivalent. a current driving licence up to category c is essential and category c + e would-be desirable.

Site Manager

CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER DH Recruitment is proud to have been given the brief of finding a suitably experienced Site Manager. Our client, who is a well established house builder, requires an experienced individual who can demonstrate a track record of completing projects on time and to a high standard. Preferably you will be trades based and having the relevant experience in timber frame housing and traditional build projects, the successful candidate will be conscientious, enthusiastic and have the motivational skills required to control and manage directly employed and sub-contract labour. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm, approx 46.5 hrs per week. This is a permanent position that offers a salary and package commensurate with the candidate’s ability and experience.
