	        	<description>An opportunity has arisen for a commercially focussed ACA or ACCA who is looking to step up into a Head of Tax opportunity within this market leading aviation business.  Taking ownership for managing and developing the group's tax strategies in line with the commercial imperatives of the group, you will provide advice and guidance to business areas on tax implications of commercial decisions. 

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that:
corporation tax computations are prepared for all companies and tax jurisdictions
indirect tax affairs are in compliance with tax legislation, enabling prompt recovery of VAT
all income tax reporting deadlines are correct and that returns are completed by the relevant deadlines
the tax element of business plans and forecasts are prepared properly, on a timely basis
any risks associated with new or overseas commercial opportunities are relayed back to the business

You will be a committed and enthusiastic Qualified Tax Accountant (ACA / ACCA) who brings current experience of managing a tax function in a commercial environment, ideally with experience of organisations with high levels of capital expenditure.  With strong influencing skills, you will be able to converse with non-technical staff and have the patience to deal with employee queries.
