This role would be suitable for someone familiar with working in a structured environment dealing with controls, someone who has had exposure to controls and compliance within an HR environment.

- Be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations

You will ideally have good experience in database development with a successful track record in database design (Access) and VB/VBA programming; and a basic working knowledge of Global Markets products, processes and trade lifecycle. A leading investment bank, who are based in the Docklands are  are looking for an experienced HR Control Officer to streamline and monitor operational controls.
As a successful HR Control Officer, you will be responsible for ownership and maintenance of the vault of personnel files, suggest/implement changes to ensure procedures are adhered to and audit/compliance are taken into account, ensuring incomplete files are, archiving/filing processes and overall maintenance/control of the vault, control and monitoring of files leaving the vault  signing in/out procedure, cross checking joiners/leavers/new joiner's payroll spreadsheets against vault spreadsheet and ensuring all files in correct section of the vault, interrogating spreadsheets and systems, work permit project, change in legislation on work permits means there is additional information that needs to be held and new systems and processes implemented, logging information in vault files, work with the Compliance and Risk  team regarding retention of information in personnel files in the vault, ensure regular monitoring to the personnel files so that we always comply, liaise with business areas on the transfer of files where applicable and then arrange movement where necessary, scanning and imaging of personnel files  when project commences, working with the transaction team to ensure all files are complete and liaising with individuals and outside agencies to ensure the correct documentation is held on file.
This role would be suitable for someone familiar with working in a structured environment dealing with controls, someone who has had exposure to controls and compliance within an HR environment.
