I am urgently seeking a Nominations Advice Officer to assess/interview clients under the Housing Act 1996. experience of the above and the issuing of Section 184 Decision letters is essential.

You will be required to assess homeless applications and make enquiries by applying the '5' tests set out under the homeless legislation to establish what duty is owed. This is essential to the role combined with experience of assessing and arranging interim accommodation pending a decision.

Identifying, arranging and offering suitable housing options in order to provide information, advice and casework assistance as appropriate to the clients needs.  The role will also include managing a personal caseload, prevention of homeless work, assessments of homeless people under Part VII Housing Act 1996, including issue of formal written decision.
