HR Officer

Leeds based charity with opportunity for experienced HR professional to assist in advising and suppointg employees across the northern region on a range of HR issues. This role would also involve a high level of admin support. This is a maternity cover contract, 9 months and requires that someone can start at short notice

Finance Analyst

General Finance Manager required for a multinational blue chip organisation based in Leeds. This is a common sense, process driven, non-technical role that requires a highly organised hands on individual. The successful candidate will undertake Financial Control around procurement and spend, ensuring that this team remains cost neutral. The department has a spend of £10M per month across hundreds of projects and thousands of individuals, and now requires someone to take ownership of this and the many funding agreements that are in place.

If you have experience of a large process driven environment, working with funding agreements and tracking spend, coupled with excellent communication skills we would be interested in hearing from you. This is an ongoing role that could well be permanent in the future, working within an organisation that has an excellent work ethic and benefits package for its permanent staff.

The individual needs to be:

highly analytical
Posses excellent inter-personal skills
ideally be a finalist or recently qualified who is has the right skills and potential

English Teacher

This school will need an English teacher to start September for approximately half a term to cover a maternity leave. This is a very successful secondary school. They are the only Church of England Aided High School in Leeds, and therefore serve the whole community of the city. Skills: This will role involve teaching a range of abilities and students will be setted, therefore the ideal candidate will be able to: · teach KS3 and KS4 · it would be beneficial to have experience of / an awareness of NC requirements for KS3; assessment focuses; assessment for learning activities to be included in a 3 part lesson plan. · Knowledge of KS4 students follow AQA Alt A and use the Anthology for Poetry. · to assess students using APP at KS3 and AQA requirements at GCSE · Knowledge of Language A level AQA Alt B would be useful but not essential. The qualities they are looking for are: · punctuality, · enthusiasm, · initiative, · secure subject knowledge The school has high expectations of their student's performance therefore it is essential to deliver a variety of teaching and learning styles. The department is looking for the planning of lessons to include linking the ability and progress of the students. The department will provide information on student levels and target to enable the planning.
