This OCN Child Learning & Development course has been written in association with the Open College Network SE Region (OCN) and leads to an industry recognised Child Care qualification - the Child Care Learning and Development Open College Network (OCN) Level 3 Diploma.
This course will help you gain work in a nursery, crèche, pre-school setting, nannying or babysitting environment. It gives you all-round knowledge of the entire child care sector for ages 0 to 11.
By the end of your training you will have a keen appreciation of the role of learning and development in child care settings, and the legislative context in which child carers operate. You will also have a good understanding of the interpersonal skills child carers need to have along with a good understanding of early education frameworks.
