Our EDI Drugs Awareness course has been written in association with EDI and leads to an industry recognised qualification - Drugs Awareness Level 2 EDI Certificate. EDI is one of the largest accredited awarding bodies in the UK vocational sector and is part of the National Qualifications Framework.
The Drugs Awareness course is designed to prepare you to work effectively in drugs prevention and intervention roles. More than 30,000 people now work in specialist drug or alcohol related roles in the UK.
Our course provides an understanding of drug use and depressants, the history of drug use, drug terminology, drug categorisation and the main drugs laws. You will also gain an understanding of the effect of drug use on society and the workplace.
The course will benefit a range of people including social and health care professionals, youth workers, community groups, parents/carers and volunteers.
