As a Teaching Assistant you would support both the teacher and the pupils in the classroom setting. This could involve anything from simple administration to learning tasks with a small group of children or one-on-one support to a special needs pupil.
You can choose to work in either a primary or secondary school. You can even choose to specialise in a particular area - such as numeracy, literacy or I.T.
